Binastra Corporation Berhad (previously known as Comintel Corporation Bhd) was incorporated on 2 October 2003 as a private limited company and was subsequently converted into a public limited company on 10 November 2003. It was listed on the second board of Bursa Malaysia Securities on 16 August 2004 (Stock Code: BNASTRA 7195).
Following the merger of the main and second boards into a unified board on 3 August 2009, Binastra is subsequently listed on the main market of Bursa Securities.

| 2022 | In December 2022, Datuk Jackson Tan Kak Seng emerged as a major shareholder of Binastra Corporation Berhad (formerly known as Comintel Corporation Bhd), a company listed on Bursa Main Board. While taking control of the listed company, Datuk Jackson Tan Kak Seng decided all construction activities to be undertaken by Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd, the wholly owned subsidiary of Binastra Corporation Berhad. Accepted a conditional letter of award for main building works amounting to RM188.8m from Mightyprop Sdn Bhd. The conditions were fulfilled. Accepted a letter of award to take over and complete the construction of uncompleted phases for Empire Residence from Mammoth Empire Land Sdn Bhd (In Liquidation). Accepted a letter of award for main building works amounting to RM170.7m from Butirjaya Maxim Development Sdn Bhd. |
| 2023 | Secured RM227.6m contract form Mightyprop Sdn Bhd for construction and completion of main building works and infrastructure works. Accepted a letter of award for piling and main building works amounting to RM168.3m from Exsim Bukit Jalil City Sdn Bhd. Secured RM229.8m contract from Builtamont Development Sdn Bhd for main building works. Received a revised sub-contract for the construction of a development project comprising of 5 blocks of affordable apartments under “Satu Anggota Satu Rumah” housing scheme located at Jalan Tasik Selatan, Kuala Lumpur, amounting to RM260m. Binastra awarded a construction and infrastructure works project worth RM161.3m by Exsim Jalil Link Sdn Bhd for the proposed development of a data centre. |
